How it works
From a link to ten Shorts in about two minutes. Here is what happens in between.
Paste a link, or sign in
Any YouTube video or Twitch past broadcast you have the rights to, up to four hours. Or sign in with YouTube and pick one of your own uploads. Nothing to upload unless you want to.
We listen to the whole thing
The full audio is transcribed and read end to end to find the stretches that stand on their own, rather than the stretches that happen to be loud. Each one gets a spoken hook from the video itself on the front.
Cut to 9:16 without losing the shot
Faces and on screen text are kept whole. Where there is a facecam and a game, the cam goes on top and the game stays whole underneath. Captions are burned in, word by word, timed to the audio.
Watch, edit, post
Ten Shorts in about two minutes, all watchable free. Trim any clip, move the captions, change the framing, then download it or post it to your channel as a Short from here.
What it can do
- Find the moments that make sense on their own, not a slice every two minutes
- Keep a facecam and the game both in frame, with nothing cropped off
- Burn in captions that read with the sound off, with profanity kept out
- Cut a Twitch VOD or a YouTube live the same way as an upload
What it will not pretend to do
- Guarantee views. Nobody can, and anyone who promises it is selling something
- Invent a moment that is not in the video. Ten is the ceiling, not a quota
- Replace posting consistently. We make each video go further, you keep uploading
