Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This policy explains what information Uploadworthy collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using Uploadworthy you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or create an account with email and password, we store your email address, your name if your provider shares it, and a securely hashed password if you set one.
- Content you upload. Videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and hashtags you submit for analysis.
- Analysis results. The scores and suggestions we generate for your uploads, kept in your account so you can return to them.
- Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number. We keep a record of your subscription status and token history.
- Usage information. Basic analytics about how the site is used, collected through Google Analytics.
- Connected platform accounts. If you choose to link a social platform account such as TikTok or YouTube, we store the account identity you authorize (display name and avatar) and read your own videos and their performance statistics, such as view, like, comment, and share counts, so we can compare your drafts against what has worked on your channel and personalize our advice. We only read data for the account you link. If you use the optional post to YouTube feature, we ask for upload permission separately at that moment, and we upload a video to your channel only when you explicitly request it; we never post anything you did not ask us to post. Linking YouTube uses the YouTube API Services, which are governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access to your Google data at any time at the Google security settings page.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the service: to analyze your uploads, generate suggestions, manage your account and tokens, process payments, respond to your messages, and keep the service secure and working. With your permission we may send you product updates or tips, which you can turn off any time in your account settings. Billing receipts are always sent.
Other services we rely on
To run Uploadworthy we share the minimum necessary information with trusted providers: Amazon Web Services (hosting and file storage), Anthropic (the AI that scores and writes packaging, which receives your video frames and packaging text), Stripe (payments), Google (sign in and analytics), and Resend (email delivery). These providers process information only to perform their service for us.
How we protect your information
- Encryption in transit. All connections to Uploadworthy use HTTPS (TLS). Data moving between our servers and our service providers is also encrypted in transit.
- Encryption at rest. Your videos and thumbnails are stored with AES-256 server side encryption.
- Credential protection. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes using an industry standard algorithm; we cannot read your password. OAuth tokens for connected accounts such as YouTube are held server side, are never exposed to your browser or to other users, and are used only to make the API calls you authorized.
- Access controls. Access to production systems and stored data is restricted to authorized personnel, protected by key based authentication, and limited to what is needed to operate and support the service.
- Data minimization and deletion. Uploaded videos are automatically deleted from storage within 30 days. Unlinking a connected account deletes the data imported from it, and deleting your account removes your data, as described below.
- Google user data. Uploadworthy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the features you request, we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and no humans read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or where required by law.
If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by law.
How long we keep information
Uploaded videos are automatically deleted from our storage within 30 days. Your account information, analysis results, and token history remain until you delete your account. When you delete your account we remove your account, token history, and related data, and cancel any active subscription.
Your choices
You can view and edit your profile, manage email preferences, and delete your account at any time from your account page. If you have linked a platform account such as TikTok or YouTube, you can unlink it at any time from your account page, which removes the connection and deletes the imported videos and statistics. Deleting your account permanently removes your data from Uploadworthy. If you have questions or requests about your data, contact us using the details below.
Children
Uploadworthy is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
